People with AIDS Coalition Utah The People With AIDS Coalition of Utah is dedicated to providing educational and support services that enhance the quality of life for all people impacted by HIV / AIDS. They offer education, support groups, recreation programs, and wellness programs
The Body The Body is a complete HIV/AIDS resource center with 550+ topic areas. Their mission: "Use the web to lower barriers between patients and clinicians. Demystify HIV/aids and its treatment. Improve patients’ quality of life. Foster community through human connection." Info on prevention and testing, treatment, policy and activism, living with AIDS, Ask the Experts, and more.
AID for AIDS AID for AIDS is a New York-based nonprofit organization that collects unused, HIV-related medications and redistributes them to people living with AIDS in Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America. In existence since 1996, AID for AIDS now operates the largest "drug recycling" program in the United States. It also works with healthcare officials and community-based organizations in those regions to help improve care for HIV-positive people.

Safe Space The Safe Space Coalition is an initiative that works to ensure safety and respect for gay and lesbian Latter-day Saints. They say: "We knew of several cases where the ecclesiastical condemnation of homosexuality had already driven Mormon children and adults to suicide. Therefore, we called on Latter-day Saints to form a Safe Space Coalition, which continues to provide a spiritual and social refuge for Mormon gays, lesbians, and their families and appeals to LDS leaders to conduct themselves in a way that our children may be safe at Church."
Affirmation: Gay and Lesbian Mormons Affirmation seeks to meet the needs of persons experiencing frustration or alienation from family, friends, and the Church because of their sexual orientation. In addition to offering assistance during life's occasional struggles, Affirmation provides a life-long opportunity for service, fun, friendship, personal enrichment, and spiritual growth. GLBT Community Center of Utah The Center provides resources & referrals, programming and a safe gathering place for lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, and transgender people of all ages. Alcoholics Anonymous Utah Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution.
Gay Youth
NYAC The National Youth Advocacy Coalition is a social justice organization that advocates for and with young people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or questioning (LGBTQ) in an effort to end discrimination against these youth and to ensure their physical and emotional well being. They are committed to addressing the connections between race, gender, class, and sexual orientation; and to bridging the gap that exists between adult LGBTQ civil rights organizations and the mainstream youth movement.
Gay LDS Young Adults Their mission: "First and foremost, to provide safe and healthy social activities and events for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender young adults ages 18-30 who share the similar cultural and religious background and/or heritage in Mormonism. Our social activities are not religious and are open to everyone regardless of their current religious affiliation, belief or church membership status. It is the goal of each GLYA social event to be held in an environment that is free from any religious, political or philosophical agenda. Lesbian and Gay Student Union U of U This year at the U the Lesbian & Gay Student Union has been working to build new relationships on campus and within the community. By strengthening ties between other groups and our own we hope to raise awareness about the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender community and issues affecting it.
Gay Youth Suicide The evidence indicates that homosexually oriented males account for more than half of male youth suicide problems, but mainstream suicidologists generally continue to ignore this aspect of the problem. Information about lesbian youth suicide problems is included, as is other generally unrecognized factors possibly associated with youth suicide problems.

Family Pride The Family Pride Coalition (FPC) has for 25 years been the only national non-profit organization solely dedicated to equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) parents and their families. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., FPC supports nearly 200 membership-based LGBT parenting groups nationwide with a base of 35,000 supporters. Focuses on advocacy, education and support.
Lamda Legal Lambda Legal is a national organization committed to achieving full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and those with HIV through impact litigation, education and public policy work. Lambda Legal carries out its legal work principally through test cases selected for the likelihood of their success in establishing positive legal precedents that will affect lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and those with HIV.
Transgender Education Advocates TEA of Utah’s mission is to educate the public on transgendered issues for better understanding and awareness of discrimination towards the transgendered population. TEA supports equal rights and equal opportunity for all GLBT individuals.
